The installation combines the article titled “Love Chart” published in Yedigun journal in 1939 with the old abacus. “Love Chart” presents a fun formula where you can calculate the duration of your relationship by referring to the month and season when you meet your beloved, and your eye and hair colors. The installation, which suggests that the abacus, an object from childhood, can be a solution to the romantic relationships of the adult world, gives a maximum of 9 years for relationships.

“Contemporary life appoints an account chart for every matter. However, the love chart here is taken from the predictions of ancient philosophers. It is possible to apply to this table for those who are hesitant to love and marry.”
