Old toy stroller and Turkish and Greek Aysegul (Martine) children’s story books from the 1970’s

The installation inspired by the countersign of the Cyprus Peace Operation, “Ayse should go on holiday”, approaches with a childish and peaceful perspective to the agenda of the period. The fact that Aysegul, which had the name Martine in its original version is still known among today’s children and adults, proves the universal quality of children’s books. The origamis made from pages of matching books printed in different languages that are displayed in a blue toy stroller of the 1970’s, pile up on top of each other and form a type of islet.
